Highlights from our November Meeting

During our November Stated Meeting, Brother Mark Stavish from Wyoming Lodge No. 468 spoke on the subject of Freemasonry with “The Master’s Word“. His compelling speech discussed the true meaning of the words we use and their origins. Brother Stavish is a frequent visitor of Lodge 531 and an accomplished author and historian who has been used as a consultant for programs on the History Channel, Animal Planet, and by British movie producer and director Guy Ritchie. He has also published several books related to Freemasonry.

The presentation was preceded by a tribute to 531‘s Past Masters. Current Worshipful Master Chris Matus read the names of living Past Masters and those in attendance stood before the Brethren to receive tokens of appreciation as well as a round of applause. Past Masters present included Lynn Sheehan, Leon Brokenshire, Barry Wagner, Robert Wagner, Robert Lewis, Timothy Haddle, and Don Shaffer.
