Brethren and their families enjoyed a variety of dishes prepared by Brothers or their ladies during the annual “Family Night”. The ladies and children were treated to a presentation on the history of The Land at Hillside Farms while the Brethren attended the Lodge’s June Stated Meeting. After the meeting, everyone gathered for a second presentation by Dr. Douglas J. Ayers on Hillside Farm’s mission, educational programs and camps, as well as its other products and services.
The Lands at Hillside Farms, located in Shavertown, is a non-profit sustainable living initiative focused on education our world about more sustainable options in life ranging from healthy nutrition, sustainable farming and energy, improved social function among people, as well as our individual responsibilities toward ourselves and everyone else.
